Minute Steak with Sweet Potato Fries
Fast and satisfying steak meal with oven fries
- 400 g Minute steak
- 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt
Sweet Potatoe Fries:
- 4 sweet potatoes
- 1 garlic clove (grated)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp honey
- 1–2 tsp lemon juice
- Thyme
- Salt
Let the meat reach room temperature.
Preheat oven to 250°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Scrub sweet potatoes and cut into fries.
Place on tray, drizzle with olive oil, honey, and lemon juice.
Add salt, thyme, and garlic.
Toss and spread evenly.
Bake for 10 minutes, then turn off oven and let finish on residual heat.
Lightly salt the steak and pan-fry in olive oil over medium heat for 1–2 minutes per side.
Ensure the pan is hot before adding the meat.
