Sichuan Broccoli

Aromatic broccoli with toasted Sichuan pepper

  • 1 head broccoli
  • 3 tbsp butter or ghee
  • 1 tbsp toasted Sichuan pepper
  • Sea salt
  1. Toast the Sichuan pepper in a dry pan and crush coarsely using a mortar.

  2. Cut the broccoli into florets.

  3. Sauté in butter or ghee until slightly tender.

  4. Sprinkle over the Sichuan pepper and season with sea salt to taste.

Serve as a starter or side dish.
